InviFill supports Unicode text for Indian-language guest names and is designed to render characters, matras and conjuncts correctly with compatible fonts.
Important: InviFill requires Unicode text. Text created using legacy/non-Unicode fonts must be converted to Unicode before importing your guest list.
PDF generation runs entirely on your browser
PDF generation runs locally in your browser. Your invitation template, guest list and generated PDFs are not uploaded to a server for processing. A shop handling a sensitive guest list can say so with confidence, because it's simply true.
We do use standard website analytics to understand visitors behavior — the same kind of thing almost every website collects. That analytics never has access to and never sees your PDF files, guest names or CSV lists.

Do I need an account to try it?
No. You can try InviFill for free without creating an account or
signing up.
The Free version adds a watermark, uses
fixed PDF metadata and adds a demo prefix to the generated file
name. Upgrade to Pro to remove these limitations.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
InviFill is built for the Google Chrome desktop browser only, on Chrome 98 or newer — it isn't supported on mobile phones, tablets or other browsers like Safari, Firefox or Edge. We built it this way because InviFill is designed for card designers, print shop owners and wedding planners doing bulk, precise work that's far more comfortable on a desktop screen than on a phone.
Is there a charge per file, per project or per export?
No. PDF generation is unlimited on both plans. The Free plan adds a watermark, while Pro removes it for a flat yearly price.
What does the Free watermark look like?
A small band at the bottom of each PDF page, a filename prefix and fixed PDF metadata. Pro removes all three.
How do I get access to the tool after purchasing the Pro Plan?
Once your payment is confirmed, we’ll send your Pro access
instructions — including the login link, email and password — to
your registered email address. You can then log in to our portal
and start using the Pro version online.
If you don’t
receive the access email within a few minutes, please check your
Spam/Junk folder.
What if I don’t receive my access instructions email?
First, please check your Spam/Junk folder. If you still can’t find the email, contact us via email or WhatsApp. We’ll verify your purchase and send your Pro access instructions directly.
What happens when my 1-year Pro access expires?
Your Pro Plan is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. We’ll
remind you before your access expires so you can decide whether to
renew or not.
There is no automatic renewal and no
recurring subscription. If you want to continue using Pro
features, you can manually renew your plan. If you choose not to
renew, your Pro access will be restricted after the 1-year period
ends.
Do you see my guest list or PDFs?
No. PDF processing happens locally in the browser. Your invitation files, guest list and generated PDFs are not uploaded for processing.
Where do I put the guest's name in my PDF?
Place the guest-name field over a dotted line (...), dashed line (___) or blank area in your invitation. You can drag it into position, preview the result and lock the layout before generating the batch.
Can I insert multiple guest names in one PDF?
No, each PDF supports a single guest-name field. If your template contains multiple guest name placeholders, choose the one you want InviFill to personalize, the other content remains unchanged.
Can I use Gujarati, Hindi and other Indian languages for guest names?
Yes. InviFill supports Unicode text for Gujarati, Hindi,
Marathi, Tamil, Bengali and other Indian scripts, provided you
select a font that supports the required characters.
Important: Your guest names
must be in Unicode format. If your names are currently written
using a legacy/non-Unicode font or legacy font encoding (for
example, older Gujarati or Hindi typing systems), you must
convert the text to Unicode first. Simply uploading the old
font file does not convert legacy text into Unicode.
Can I use custom fonts?
Yes. You can choose a supported web font or upload your own TTF
or OTF font file.
For Indian-language text, the font
must support the required Unicode characters. Uploading a
legacy/non-Unicode font does not convert legacy text to
Unicode. If your guest names were created using a legacy font
or legacy typing system, convert the text to Unicode before
importing it into InviFill.
Do legacy/non-Unicode Gujarati or Hindi fonts work for guest names?
Not directly. InviFill works with Unicode text.
If
your guest names were typed using a legacy/non-Unicode font or
legacy typing system, the text must be converted to Unicode
before importing your guest list.
You can search
online for a Unicode conversion tool that matches your font —
many free tools are available for this.
You can also
try AI tools such as Google Gemini or ChatGPT to convert text
from legacy/non-Unicode fonts into Unicode. Results may vary
depending on the font and the accuracy of the original text, so
please review the converted names before importing them into
InviFill.
How can I type guest names in Unicode?
You do not need any special software. You can type Unicode text using the following methods:
- Google Input Tools — Type Indian languages directly in your browser using Google Input Tools or its Chrome extension.
- Google Docs — Use Google Docs' language/input tools to type in your preferred Indian language.
- Online typing tools — Type and copy Unicode text using tools such as Pramukh IME, IndiaTyping or Easy Gujarati Typing.
- Android — Use Gboard (Google Keyboard) to type in Gujarati, Hindi or other Indian languages. You can send the names to your computer via WhatsApp or email and copy-paste them into InviFill.
- iPhone/iPad — Use the built-in Indian-language keyboard to type Unicode names and then transfer them to your computer.
Example: Type kem chho → કેમ છો. Copy the Unicode names and paste them into the InviFill guest list textarea.
You can also try AI tools such as Google Gemini or ChatGPT to extract guest names from a photo of your handwritten name list. Once the names are extracted, you can review them, copy the list and paste it into the InviFill guest name list.
Can I use guest names in filenames?
Yes. You can use the guest-name variable in the filename so each generated PDF can include the guest name, making files easier to identify and send.
Can I use InviFill for certificates?
Yes — any PDF template with one name field works, including school and event certificates.
How big can the PDF file size be?
You can upload a PDF up to 50 MB. For faster processing, we recommend compressing your file to around 5–10 MB before uploading.
How many PDFs can I generate at once?
A single guest list can hold up to 4000 names — whether you type them, paste them or import a CSV — so you can generate up to 4000 personalized PDFs in a single run. Generation runs entirely on your device, so the actual processing speed depends on your device, browser, PDF size, number of pages, fonts and template complexity.
Save to Folder can handle large batches without splitting them into ZIP files. If you choose ZIP export, we recommend keeping each ZIP around 100–150 MB for easier downloading and handling.
Do you offer refunds?
No, we don't offer refunds on Pro purchases under any
circumstances. You can try and test our

Do you offer OCR to extract guest names from photos or scanned documents?
No. InviFill does not use OCR to extract names from photos,
scanned invitations or other documents. You need to provide
your guest names as a CSV/TXT file or enter them
manually.
Although InviFill does not currently
provide OCR, you can use AI tools such as Google Gemini or
ChatGPT to extract guest names from handwritten photos or
scanned documents. After extraction, review the names for
accuracy, then copy and paste the name list into InviFill.
Are image files supported as invitation templates?
Not directly. InviFill currently supports PDF templates only. If your invitation is a JPG, PNG or another image format, simply convert it to a PDF first and then upload it to InviFill.
Which file formats are supported for guest lists?
You can import guest names from CSV or TXT files. If your guest list is in Excel (.xlsx) or another format, export or save it as a CSV or TXT file first, then upload it to InviFill.
Does it work offline?
Partially. You need an internet connection to access and load
InviFill. The page needs to download its required web files,
including CSS, JavaScript and custom fonts.
Once the
tool and all required files have loaded, PDF processing happens
locally in your browser. Your invitation PDF and guest list are
processed on your device and are not uploaded to a server.
So,
an internet connection is required to load the tool, but the
actual PDF processing is done locally in your browser.
